Buffalo Wild Wings to promote March Madness

Buffalo Wild Wings is launching its new multi-platform ad campaign during the month of March, one of its busiest times of the year.

The advertising campaign is centered on what college basketball fans would do for “More March,” with each of three 30-second spots asking Buffalo Wild Wings guests which month they would give up in return for more tournament time. The answers – played out as unfortunate memories – provide the varied reasons fans would sacrifice another month of the year to get “More March” at Buffalo Wild Wings.

The fully integrated campaign includes television and radio, developed by Fallon Minneapolis, digital and social media, a text-to-win promotion and a new Buffalo Wild Wings app to pledge devotion to a favorite team. Fans can view the ads and create a personal, customized “More March” video at www.moremarch.com.

“We love this time of year,” said Kathy Benning, Buffalo Wild Wings executive vice president, marketing and brand development. “We know that the college tournaments are a favorite time for our guests too. Our new campaign captures their passion for the competition and the energy that’s associated with March.”
